Nominate your Hall of Famer
Individuals are not selected to the Hall of Fame only because they were outstanding players during their personal careers. They are generally chosen for their dedication and love for the game, and what they have done for amateur baseball in their communities during and after their personal playing careers were over.
Community participation and good citizenship are important; as a result, some excellent players may never be selected to the Hall of Fame because after their careers ended, they dropped their interest and support of amateur baseball. After all, they could have already gotten an award as a tournament or season M.V.P. and have been properly recognized for their on-field achievement.
- Candidates should have shown their dedication and love for the game of baseball and to their community beyond the field.
- Involvement in Minnesota Amateur Baseball, Youth Programs (Babe Ruth), High School, VFW, American Legion, and College baseball within the State of Minnesota are all considered.
- Involvement in Community and Service organizations play an important role in consideration.
- Eligible Individuals include: Outstanding Players, Coaches, Managers, Umpires, League Officers, Team Board Members.
